Privacy Policy

• Your video files are processed in your own browser. We do not upload your master video files to our servers.
• When you connect TikTok, we store only the tokens needed to publish on your behalf, plus your TikTok display name and avatar URL.
• We never post anything without an explicit action from you.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• You can disconnect TikTok and delete your account and all associated data at any time.

CreatorFPS ("CreatorFPS", "we", "us") operates the website at https://creatorfps.com and the related web application (the "Service"). The Service lets creators analyze a video file, lock its resolution and frame rate, optimize it for TikTok's ingest requirements, and publish it to their own TikTok account using TikTok's official Content Posting API.

For data protection purposes, CreatorFPS is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@creatorfps.com.

a) Account data

• Email address and basic profile information (name, avatar) when you sign in with Google or another supported sign-in provider.
• An internal user identifier used to link your settings and upload history.

b) TikTok account data

If — and only if — you choose to connect TikTok, we receive from TikTok, with your consent, and store:

• An access token and refresh token that allow the Service to upload and publish videos to your account.
• Your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar URL, used to show you which account is connected.
• Your account's publishing capabilities (for example allowed privacy levels, comment/duet/stitch availability, maximum video duration) returned by TikTok's creator info endpoint, so we can show valid posting options.

We request only the scopes required for the feature you use: user.info.basic, video.upload and video.publish. We do not request access to your private messages, followers or analytics.

c) Video content

• Video files you select are read, analyzed and re-encoded locally in your browser using WebAssembly. The file itself is not sent to CreatorFPS servers.
• When you publish, the resulting file is transferred directly from your browser to the upload endpoint that TikTok provides for your post.
• We store only lightweight metadata about the job: file name, size, duration, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, codec, chosen optimization mode, caption text, privacy level and publish status.

d) Technical data

• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested endpoint) kept for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
• Error reports containing the technical details of a failure, without your video content.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioural profiling.

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To perform the action you request: analyzing a file, optimizing it, and publishing it to your TikTok account.
• To display your upload history and the status of each post.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
• To comply with legal obligations and with TikTok's developer requirements.

We never use your content to train machine-learning models, and we never publish, schedule, delete or modify anything on your TikTok account except the specific post you explicitly submit.

• Performance of a contract — providing the Service you signed up for.
• Consent — connecting your TikTok account and granting publishing scopes. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting.
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention and service reliability.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with applicable law.

We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to run the Service:

• TikTok — receives your video and post settings when you publish, under TikTok's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Our hosting and database provider — stores account records, connection tokens and upload metadata in encrypted form.
• Our authentication provider — handles sign-in.

We do not sell personal data, do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and do not transfer it to data brokers. We may disclose data if legally required by a valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

• All traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS.
• TikTok tokens are stored server-side with row-level access controls so that a record is only readable by the user who owns it. Tokens are never exposed to the browser.
• The OAuth flow uses a single-use, expiring state parameter to prevent cross-site request forgery.
• Access to production systems is restricted and logged.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law.

• TikTok tokens: kept until you disconnect, until they are revoked by TikTok, or until your account is deleted.
• Upload metadata: kept while your account is active, so you can see your history.
• Video files: not retained by us. Temporary in-browser data is discarded when you close or reload the page.
• Server logs: retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymised.
• Account records: deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

• Disconnect TikTok at any time from the Publish step; this deletes the stored tokens for that connection.
• Revoke access directly in TikTok under Settings, then Security & permissions, then Manage app permissions.
• Request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any right, email privacy@creatorfps.com. We respond within 30 days.

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and old enough to hold a TikTok account, to use CreatorFPS. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we delete it.

Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

CreatorFPS is an independent tool built on TikTok's official developer APIs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok Pte. Ltd. or ByteDance. Your use of TikTok remains governed by TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and all content published through CreatorFPS is subject to TikTok's Community Guidelines.

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and the effective date above will be updated. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
